The whole Buffy series is just amazing. It combines romance, humor, and horror all in one action packed TV show. The concept of the show in itself is just amazingly awesome. If you haven't seen a single episode, you must.
The three main people, that were pretty much in the series from beginning to end, are Buffy Summers (played by Sarah Michelle Gellar), Xander Harris (played by Nicholas Brendon), and Willow Rosenberg (played by Alyson Hannigan).

Sarah is an amazing actress and only gets better as she does each episode. She also played Daphne in
Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed
(2004), Karen in the Grudge (2004) and the Grudge 2 (2006), and multiple other movies. In Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she plays the wicked awesome vampire slayer with a big ego and huge attitude. She started out as a cheerleader and then became the vampire slayer. It took here a little while to adjust, but by this episode, she is starting to realize that she won't be a normal girl.

Nicholas is great actor, I'm just not to fond of his character in this show. He also played Chase in Blood on the Highway (2008), Kevin in multiple episodes of Criminal Minds, and various other Television shows. In this show though, he plays the dorky best friend of Buffy that helps with a lot of the cases and adds some humor into the show.

Alyson is a very beautiful and wonderful actress that seems to really put herself into the character. She isn't the main character but she is my favorite character in the series. She also played Julia in Date Movie (2006), Lily in How I met Your Mother, and a few other movies and shows. In this wonderful TV show, she plays the nerdy best friend of Buffy that is kind of like the girl next door.

David Boreanaz (plays the character Angel) is the vampire with a soul. He later goes and has his own show, called Angel, which he plays Angel, the same one from Buffy. He is a great actor, adds a nice amount of humor and drama in the show. He was also played Booth in the TV show Bones.

Now, in this episode, it is about the high school students taking little kids trick or treating on Halloween. They all buy Halloween costumes in a new story, though they all turn into what they dress up as.
There are many metaphors in this show (much like in all the episodes), yet the one that stuck out to me the most was the one involving Willow. It deals with the main metaphor of the show, yet personalized just for her. Buffy tries getting her to show more skin and look cute for her costume. She doesn't want to so she wears a ghost costume over it. When everyone turns into their costumes, Willow turns into a ghost, showing the little outfit Buffy picked out for her. By the end, Willow comes to terms with how she looks and ditches the ghost costume.

The Buffy series is amazing, I recommend it for any one who likes action, comedy, romance, and lots of drama. This episode starts with Buffy fighting a vampire and killing them. Then going to meet Angle for a date. Upon arrival, she sees Cordillia talking with Angle. It has her doubting that Angle likes her. So Buffy and Willow barrow the "Watchers Diary" without Giles knowing. They then learn about what women looked like when Angle was 16. While at school, Buffy and her friends get roped into signing up to watch little kids trick or treat, so they get costumes. Buffy sees one that looks like the clothes described from the "Watchers Diary" and
later while trike or treating, gets turned into a 18th century girl from Angel's time. The guy who sold Buffy the costume makes everyone turn into what they were dressed as. Buffy is then unable to fight at all and is useless until Giles breaks the spell. The main metaphor is, don't try to be what you're not. It wont work out well.
